The mala strictly has to consist of at least one bead of 1 mukhi to 14 mukhi with Gaurishanker & Ganesha Rudraksha of any origin or combination of origins. Multiple beads of the same mukhi are recommended by various vendors which is only to increase the turnover kindly take note. Vendors recommend you to add multiple of each mukhis but there is no reason for the same.

Definitely, further additions can be done like adding Crystal beads, sandalwood beads, gemstone beads, small Rudrakshas, gold, silver….etc to suit an individual.
